Drying cabinets are generally used for drying aggregate samples and are available in a range of models and designs. The EN standard states that materials should be dried (and not manipulated during drying), this means that drying in a microwave is not permitted (the material will “explode”), therefore drying in a drying cabinet is recommended.
1) Manufacturer: Memmert
The German manufacturer Memmert has a long tradition in manufacturing drying cabinets. Their solid cabinets are available in several different models and sizes.
The sizes are as follows, internally; 32 – 53 – 74 – 108 – 161 – 256 – 449 – 749 – 1060 liters
2) Manufacturer: Termaks
Termaks manufactures drying cabinets in 4 different sizes. All models go up to 220°C and are controlled by a PID temperature controller. The cabinets have digital temperature calibration, alarm function, data logging and all cabinets except the smallest 26 liters, have a fan motor.

3) Manufacturer: Matest
Italian Matest has developed several series of drying cabinets, from relatively cheap and simple to somewhat more elaborate.
Series A005, with fan, digital thermostat, up to 200°C
The A005 series is available in volumes from 110L to 440L
Series A008 which is particularly suitable when high temperature uniformity and precision inside the chamber are required.
The A008 series is available in volumes from 110L to 750L
