The Marshall compactor automatically compresses the sample and stops the motor after the preset number of strokes has been completed on the automatic digital display counter.

The release mechanism is designed so that the slide hammer falls at the same height with each stroke. The mold is held in place by a quick-clamping device.

The drop hammer includes a concrete foundation on which a wooden block is mounted.
